Project Summary
In 2021, the management of the University of St. Joseph- Mbarara approched Energy Systems Limited to install solar panels, aiming to reduce the University`s electricity bill.
Our solution involved a thorough assessment of their annual energy needs and roof space, leading to the choice of a ground mounted system. We installed 18 450W solar Panels.
To maximize energy efficiency, we also included 2 Weco 5K3 Weco Lithium Batteries paired with a Phocos 5kW Hybrid Inverter. This setup effectively stores surplus power for use at night, ensuring a continuous and cost-effective energy supply.
The system is composed of 18 ground mounted solar panels of 450W, 1 Grid Tied Inverter of 3Phase, High Voltage - 27KW
