The National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the nation’s medical research agency since 1887 — making important discoveries that improve health and save lives.
In March 2023 ESL designed, supplied and commissioned a Solar Hybrid System to run NIH Lab in Entebbe, Building housed a High-tech Laboratory, Offices, among others. The building consumes an 6Kw on average. The system is composed of 36 solar panels of 550W each mounted on the Tin Roofs, 1 Hybrid Inverter of 3Phase, Low Voltage - 12KW each and 8 Lithium Batteries of 5.3kwhr. The system was purchased by NIH through the American Embassy and was commissioned in March 2023
