ABOUT ESL

Energy Systems Limited (ESL) is a Ugandan Private Limited Liability Company incorporated on the 12th day of January 2001 in Kampala Uganda by Ugandan Entrepreneurs, (Registration Number: 80010000482382, TIN 1000030313 and Unique Entity ID ZBCQLH5TMNP1). The proprietors of ESL had prior knowledge of Uganda’s Solar Energy Industry having worked with one the few Solar Companies at the time. They were able to carry out a careful assessment of both rural and urban community basic energy needs in light of global development trends. ESL offers solutions that harness Solar Energy and these solutions are available for both off-grid (rural or remote) and on-grid (urban) applications.

At ESL, we prioritize Quality Solar Products, among other offered renewable energies. In pursuit of this mandate, we secured exclusive Agency with African Energy Inc, a US-based company headquartered in St. David – Southern Arizona. African Energy Inc. is a Manufacturer and wholesale distributor of high-quality solar equipment. Established in 2002, with an average annual revenue of over $ 10 million. African Energy serves over 600 solar installers and project developers in over 40 African countries. The company provides technical training to installers and represents major US and international brands in the off-grid solar electric industry.

African Energy operates Dealerships in 10 African countries, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria.

ESL employs a multi-disciplinary team of 18 personnel and has successfully implemented a single project of 150KW.
